A new restaurant/clubhouse has opened on Heddon Street, London, and from day one they've been blasting Indian music outside. All the other restaurants on Heddon Street are considerate of each other, but not the Ambassador Clubhouse. Instead of enjoying a quiet, peaceful day in the Italian restaurant next door, you end up eating Italian food while being forced to listen to their Indian music. Don’t get me wrong, I like Indian music, but I don’t appreciate inconsiderate restaurant management/owners.
Unprofessional staff. Lacking service. Old fashioned policies stuck in a previous decade. Not one person to answer a phone call. Mediocre food. There are much better places to spend your money.
Unprofessional staff and bad customer service. The Cadogan Arms in Chelsea spilt gravy into my shopping bag covering my brand new jeans. They told me to contact the manager who would reimburse me as I could no longer return them. The manager, Chris Goncalves, was absolutely useless; we went back and forth for MONTHS as he refused to reimburse me and would only pay for dry cleaning which I explained was not possible given they still had new tags on. I ended up escalating to parent company JSK Restaurants - Hannah picked up my complaint and she offered to reimburse me if I bring the jeans into the restaurant so they can 'buy them off me'. I asked what they wanted with them, and she said to donate to charity. That's not a reimbursement, that's treating your customers like a secondhand shop. After some consideration, I will not be bothering. What a very strange and unprofessional way of doing business...avoid!
