I joined the MeTime 'Over 65s' sessions just over a year ago as I was yearly heading towards my 70th birthday and I was starting to feel a bit 'creaky'. Since then, I have, deliberately, lost 10kg weight, while maintaining my muscle mass, feel much stronger now and have lost that creakiness. That has been achieved by the motivation from the team, diet advice and from the sessions themselves. So what do you get being a MeTime member? From the moment you arrive you receive a warm welcome, from staff and members alike. The groups are small, so there are usually familiar faces, or faces that will become familiar. The sessions are always good natured and we are encouraged to exercise to our fullest capability. As the groups are small, with a current maximum of 8 or 9 attendees, the trainers can keep a watchful eye, or two, on everyone. This is a fitness centre you look forward to attending again and again.

Me Time is such a brilliant gym - I really recommend it to any 40+ women (or man) who wishes to make changes to their life style and get fit! Such a warm friendly bunch, really unintimidating and inspiring! I used to be the kind of gym member who never went to the gym - as a 50+ post kids growing up women, I despaired of getting my fitness, flexibility, and strength back. Now I regularly do Yoga, Boxing and HiiT - go on, give it a try - the only thing you have to lose is the old you!

Me Time is unique in what the programmes offer to my age cohort of 65+. Try their 6 week plan, enjoy, then continue, as I have for 3 years next month. Multiple friendly classes run by motivating trainers who adjust for individual abilities, shapes and weights. Inclusive of those of us wine loving foodies who previously did little exercise for 25+ yrs. Flexible membership options let the pension stretch further - good value. Go on, gift yourself some Me Time!

A great friendly gym with helpful and caring staff and thought out exercises for those over 40. Never judgemental and always supportive. Easy to get to and lots of support with the apps.

MeTime Fitness is a very typical high intensity type of class which has couple of issues. My husband and o signed up to 6 weeks program after some conversation with the founder. I clearly expressed my goals and my weaknesses and he promised the classes are designed for anyone with any conditions and he would guarantee the results. First of all the average age of the members are quite high and the PTs are getting everyone to do the same workout regardless of their age, weight and physical condition. The classes after work hours always busy and difficult to get into when the other classes are barely having any attendees. Also the owner who was teaching most of the classes didn’t really follow up on progress or seeking any feedback. To me and my husband it felt he just wanted to sell the membership to us and then nothing further. I don’t really recommend this gym at all. Prices are high and the deceived small and standard is low. You better off going elsewhere.
